Laura grew up in the small town of Pickens, South Carolina and following high school, attended Clemson University where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Following Clemson, she spent six years working as a neonatal intensive care and labor and delivery nurse.
She attended Frontier Nursing University and obtained a Master's Degree in Nurse Midwifery, and a post-masters Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in 2016. Laura is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. She always knew she had a passion for working with women during pregnancy and childbirth, and is passionate about empowering women to take control of their health decisions.
Laura spends her free time with her husband Charlie, and her cocker spaniel mutt Sampson. She enjoys long walks, good coffee, tasty food, and naps.
