Maureen is a Cleveland, Ohio native and relocated to the Myrtle Beach area with her husband in June of 2013. Maureen graduated from Frontier Nursing University with her Master's Degree in Nurse Midwifery in 2011. She has been practicing as a midwife since 2012 and has years of experience as a registered nurse in both high-risk labor and delivery as well as the outpatient setting. Maureen is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Maureen fell in love with the warmth and charm of the south and loves being part of a practice offering a Centering Pregnancy program. Her strengths include being an advocate for women during pregnancy and childbirth as well as empowering women to have autonomy in their care. Maureen understands the importance of providing family and women centered care. She attends deliveries at both Tidelands Georgetown hospital and Tideland Waccamaw Hospital.
Maureen spends her free time with her husband and daughter, doing newborn photography and relaxing at the beach. She is currently expecting baby number two in the fall of 2016.
