Jessica J. Bentley, CNM, MSN, joined Carolina OB/GYN in April 2018. She received her Master of Science in Nursing and was certified as a Nurse Midwife through Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She graduated from both programs with honors. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) and the American Nursing Association (ANA).
Jessica, who has 20+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, began her career in cardiac ICU before concentrating on women’s health. She has worked in high-risk labor and delivery the majority of her nursing career. Jessica enjoys mentoring new labor and delivery nurses and teaching expectant parents about childbirth. She is a member of a medical missions team that travels to Haiti every year.
Jessica believes that a collaborative partnership with her fellow midwives and OB/GYN physician partners allows her the opportunity to assist her patients through a holistic, evidence-based plan of care. One of her main goals is to empower the women she cares for, giving them a voice in their healthcare and body.
Originally from Fargo ND, Jess has called the Carolinas home for the past ten years. She and her husband have three children.
